The EP “We Gotta Talk” has just been released, and that will be celebrated with a show in the Maze club!

Emma Elisabeth, a swedish singer/songwriter based in Berlin, writes effortlessly flowing popmelodies and surrounds them with a jangly sound. It is colorful, various and playful. Her songs channel elements of fuzzy rock as well as 90’s melancholia and 70’s vocal arrangements, based in a classic songwriting approach that flirts with the beauty of the past. The vibe might make you think of bands like The Cardigans or Lush and her crush on women like Stevie, Patti and Debbie is a source of inspiration.

Im Herzen die heimische (skandinavische) Popmusik-Szene, im Kopf Fantasien der Post-Rock’n’Roll-Ära – Emma Elisabeth schreibt Songs, die irgendwo zwischen Dream Pop und Alternative Rock landen. Der Vibe erinnert an Lush oder The Cardigans. Die Schwedin erforscht zeitgenössische Sounds und flirtet gleichzeitig elegant mit der Schönheit der Vergangenheit.
